Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Palmerino and Annuzita (DeCesare) Imondi.
He was the beloved husband of the late Rosanna (D’Amico) Imondi. He was the devoted father of Gabriel A. “Gabe” Imondi and companion of Irene A. Bernier for 38 years. He was the brother of the late Alfred, Antonio, Palmerino and Carmino Imondi, Clementine Testa and Mary Seccareccia. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Gabriel was a General Painting Contractor, Owner and Operator of Aero Spray Painting, Inc. He served his Country in the United States Army during WWII. This past year he was the Grand Marshall for the Town of Lincoln's Memorial Day Parade.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, from 9:00-10:00 am in Saint Ann’s Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence followed by a Solemn Mass at 10:00 am. Graveside Burial with Military Honors will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
