Gertrude M. Masukewicz

Born in Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Palka) Uralowich. She was the loving wife to her late husband, Henry Masukewicz for 64 years. She was the cherished mother to her children, Lori and David (Lisa) and proud grandma to her adored grandchildren, Sarah and Jonathan and to her pup and loyal companion, Oliver. She was “Aunt Trudy” to her nieces and nephews. Trudy was the sister of the late Severyn Uralowich and Daniel Uralowich.

Trudy was a dedicated homemaker to her family. She was a terrific seamstress who enjoyed sewing and creating new clothing, drapery and quilts. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, especially Polish delicacies and liked working outdoors tending to her garden and flowers. She spent endless hours doing her word search puzzles. Trudy liked taking road trips from the backseat with her pup by her side and a coffee and donut in hand.

She will be dearly missed, forever loved and never forgotten.

Her visitation will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Ave., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street, Providence. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
