

CRANSTON - DiSANO, Gino, 75, of Sunset Terrace, died Tuesday at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Elena (Sionni) DiSano. They had been married for 55 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph and Antonetta (Silvestri) DiSano, he had lived in the Federal Hill neighborhood for most of his life prior to moving to Cranston 7 years ago. Mr. DiSano had been a jewelry caster for Modern Casting Company, and also the owner of Carla Casting Company for 25 years before he retired in 1996. Besides his wife he leaves his children, Gino F. DiSano and his wife Laurie of Warwick, Michael A. DiSano of West Greenwich, Gina M. DiSano Kenny of Lincoln, Sherry A. Olink and her husband Anthony of Warwick, and Carla J. Squadrito and her husband William of Cranston; his brother Chippy DiSano of Providence; two sisters Jeanette Coppetta of Spencerport, NY and Dorothy Bianco of Cranston, and 10 grandchildren. He was the father of the late Joseph M. DiSano and the brother of the late William, Joseph, and Robert Vendettoli, and Eleanor Dyer. His funeral will be Saturday 7:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 64 Brayton Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-8pm.
