

Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of Anthony Rubino and the late Diane Gabriele. He was the brother of Joseph Rubino of Johnston, RI, Scott McCain of Mascotte, FL, Anthony Rubino, Jr of Smithfield, RI, Matthew Rubino of Keene, NH and Brianna Rubino of Port St Lucie, FL.
Greg also leaves behind his daughter, Ashley Rubino of Cranston and his step children, Michael Goyette of Prattsville, NY, Frank Goyette of Clarks Summit, PA and Rebeccah Goyette of Platte Clove, NY, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
A 1988 graduate from the machine shop program at Davies Vocational School, he worked the majority of his career as a machinist, most recently, at Piper Aircraft in Vero Beach FL.
Everyone that knew Greg, knew of his love of NASCAR Racing, and especially his all time favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt. Greg also participated in iRacing, an online league with other racing enthusiasts, he made some good friends in the league, you all know who you are.
When he was not racing online, Greg also loved playing video games, collecting Star Wars memorabilia, and music.
A private family visitation and service is scheduled and a Memorial Mass is planned for a later date at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. In addition, a celebration of life reception will also be scheduled for a later date that will be open to all his family and friends.
