He was the son of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Moran) Quirk; husband of Marilyn (McKeon) Quirk; father of David Quirk and Colleen Deskis; brother of Helen McMillen; grandfather of 4.
Harold had worked for Almacs and Ocean State Dairy before retiring.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral service on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, followed by burial with Military Honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 45 Gay Street, Providence, RI 02905.
