Helen V. (Cipriano) Cordeiro, 82, passed away October 24, 2013. She was the wife of the late Joseph Cordeiro; daughter of the late Giuseppe and Carmella (Gautieri) Cipriano; and mother of the late Marie A. Cordeiro. She was the sister of the late Michael G. Cipriano, Ralph Cipriano, Gregory Cipriano, Anthony Cipriano, Amelia Santopadre, Anna Guiliano, and Mary Aliberti. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Evelyn A. Cipriano as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Helen was the former owner and operator of Helen’s Jewelry.
Visitation and funeral Monday 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Avenue, Smithfield. Burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
