Barclay, Henry D., 82, of Narrow Lane, died Thursday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Carolyn A. (McNeil) Barclay for 31 years and the late Barbara K. (McKenney) Barclay.Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Ernest and Mary (Dawson) Barclay. Henry was a sales manager for Ward Bakery & Homestead for 40 years, retiring in 1988. He was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Providence - Cranston Lodge of Elks #14 and a member of U.C.T. He also was a former Providence Policeman. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Paul D. Barclay of Warwick, two daughters, Barbara A. Holcomb of Attleboro and Donna B. Wallace of Cranston, a brother Albert Barclay of Coventry, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Ernest Barclay. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:45am from the Russell J. Boyle&Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am in St. Bernard Church, Tower Hill Rd., North Kingstown. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
