Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late John and Augusta (Gomes) Pimental.
Hilda loved animals and never met a stray cat she did not want to feed. She enjoyed reading and walking. Hilda loved her family and friends. She always had a smile for everyone and was a blessing to all whose path she crossed.
She was the loving mother of Dianne Vieira and her husband Eduardo and Filip A. Pascale and his wife Patricia; cherished grandmother of Eddy Vieira and his wife Lindsay, Alissa Pascale, and Jeffrey Pascale; and great-grandmother of Darius Angelo Vieira and Aevyn Vieira.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the St. Edward Food and Wellness Center, 997 Branch Ave, Providence, RI 02904.
