Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Stefano and Giovannina (Tacelli) DiRobbio; wife of the late Thomas Castrignano, mother of Thomas A. Castrignano, Jenny Tufano and her husband Thomas; grandmother of 4; great-grandmother of 7; sister of Maria Singleton.
Ida’s first job was at Imperial Knife Company in Providence and later worked as a supervisor for A.T. Cross before retiring.
Ida was a long term member of North Providence Assembly of God Church. She was an avid Patriot fan and one of the joys of her life was watching the Pats games together with her family.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 5th, 9-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, with a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. in the North Providence Assembly of God, 244 Lexington Avenue, North Providence.
