Isadore Capaldi

Born in Providence, the son of the late Gaetano and Pasqualina (Moutouri) Capaldi and the beloved brother of the late Nicholas Capaldi. He is survived by his loving sisters Alice Johnson and Claire King.

He was the devoted father of Robert I. Capaldi and his wife Catherine, the late Karen Marie Manzo and her late husband Roy and Kenneth H. Capaldi and his wife Denise; cherished grandfather of Christopher Capaldi, Maria Capaldi, Nicole Mitchell, Michael Capaldi and Marissa Manzo; adored great-grandfather of Hazel and Noah Capaldi, Laila and Kilei Mitchell, and Angelina and Gino Capellan.

Enjoying retirement at the age of 62, Tuggy and Dottie enjoyed bowling leagues and taking vacations. After Dottie’s passing, he enjoyed shooting pool and playing cards and bocce at the Smithfield Senior Center. Tuggy loved spending time with family, even his grand-dogs.

He will be sorely missed by everyone who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 9:00-10:00 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
