James L. Angell, III

 James L. Angell, III,  37, of Mathewson Street, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019.

 He was the son of James L. Angell Jr. (ret PPD), of North Providence and Nora Hawkins of North Kingstown ; stepson of David Hawkins and Victoria Angell.

Jim is survived by his beloved sister Jamie Lynn Angell, stepbrother Dillon Greene and stepsister Angelica Spertini. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was a 1999 graduate of North Providence High School and 2008 graduate of Year Up Providence. He later went on to serve as a proud member of the Rhode Island Army National Guard. Jim worked as a self employed truck driver. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed sports, especially basketball, The New England Patriots, and WWE wrestling, as well as collecting comics and playing video games.

 Jimmy’s funeral will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 8:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. 

Visiting hours, Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4 to 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Patrick Academy, 244 Smith Street, Providence or R.I. Special Olympics, 370 George Washington Hwy, Smithfield, RI 02917 in Jimmy’s memory would be appreciated.
