Cranston James E.Hudson, 85, of Doric Avenue, died Monday at Orchard View Manor. He was the loving husband of the late Edna (Mosley) Hudson. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Herbert and Helen (Auger) Hudson. Mr. Hudson was a Truck Driver for Yale Trucking Company for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Local 251, International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He leaves a son, James E. Hudson, Jr., two daughters, Debora O'Connor and Donna St. Angelo; a brother, Joseph Auger; three sisters, Elizabeth Winn, Mary Ann Perry, and Rhoda Chapell; and two granddaughters, Cherelle Monhollen and Christina O'Connor. He was the brother of the late William Hudson, Gladys Elman, and May Hudson. His funeral and visitation will be held on Friday, at 9:30 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston.
