Dailey, Janet (Dougan) age 85 formerly of Hoffman Ave in Cranston, passed away on February 29, 2012 at Emerald Bay Manor in Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Dailey, Jr. Born in Providence, She was the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Mary (Gormley) Dougan. Before retirement, Mrs. Dailey was employed with the Dept. of Labor and Training Workers Compensation Division, State of RI as an Administrator for many years. She was a 1948 graduate of RIC and a long time communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, a Eucharistic Minister and spent many years as a Volunteer at our Lady of Peace Retreat. She is survived by 3 nieces and 3 nephews. She was also the sister of the late Anne D. Thornton. Her funeral with visitation will be held on MONDAY at 8:30 am from the RUSSELL J. BOYLE & Son Funeral Home 142 Centerville Rd., WARWICK, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Immaculate Conception Church 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston RI 02920.
