Janet C. Lanzieri Federico

Janet C. (Lanzieri) Federico, 85, passed away peacefully November 23, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Vincent L. Federico to whom she was married for 65 ½ years. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Ursula (Adams) Lanzieri. She was the loving mother of Marilyn Federico-Gomes and her husband Kenneth Sr., Lorraine Stifano, Richard Federico and his wife Olga, and Ann Lapolla and her husband Michael; cherished grandmother of Erica Lindo, Joseph Federico, Lauren Lapolla, Christina Vittoria, M. Jonathan Lapolla and the late Robert Marini; great-grandmother of Sebastian Lindo and Luciana Federico; and sister of Vincent Lanzieri Jr., Etta Price and the late John Lanzieri.

Janet was a true Christian woman who was involved with many church choirs over the years. She loved spending time with her family and caring for all of her grandchildren. Janet also loved to travel and had a passion for the beach.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, 55 Elmhurst Avenue, Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
