Born in North Providence RI, the beloved daughter of the late Alexander and Gertrude Peno.
She was the wife to the late Albert Jennings.
Janet was also a devoted mother who dedicated her life for her family. She enjoyed spending time with family and close friends having a cup of tea while spilling the tea. Janet was a cherished mother to her two son’s Albert Jennings and Mark Jennings and her daughters Karen Freitas and Laurie Gobern. Janet is survived by 16 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren. She was the sister to the late George and Jack Peno, Ruth Fonseca, Barbara Dalomba and Mildred Larkin.
Her visitation and funeral will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home 971 Branch Ave, Providence, RI followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at the R.I. Veteran Cemetery, Exeter.
