Janet Marie Rosa

Janet M. Rosa (Desrosiers) 73, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Sidney J. Rosa. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Armand J. and Adelia E. (Gallant) Desrosiers. Mrs. Rosa was employed as a clerk at Allegra Printing Company in Providence for six years, prior to retiring in 2007. Janet was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her husband Sidney dearly all of her life. Janet enjoyed knitting, cooking, reading and watching crime dramas on television. She loved camping at Natures Campsites, in CT and was especially fond of her two dogs, Buns and Honey, and cat, Lindy. She leaves her two daughters, Marie J. Grybas, and her husband, Peter, of Providence and Cindy A. Marchesi, and her husband, Steven, of Providence; two brothers, Henry J. Desrosiers, and his wife, Brenda and Rene E. Desrosiers, and his wife, Jeane, both of Coventry; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Heather, and Kayla Grybas and Joseph Marchesi; and her special camping friends. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 9:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, in Saint Casimir Church, 350 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
