Jean Veronica Conner

Conner, Jean V. (Scully), 87, of Cranston, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the Roger Williams Medical Center, in Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Raymond A. Conner.Born in Brookline, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Prendergast) Scully.She worked in the finance department at the Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland for 10 years, retiring in 1989.Jean was an avid knitter and reader, and loved to play bingo. Mrs. Conner was a devoted mother and grandmother.She leaves her four children, Stephen F. Conner, of Ipswich, MA, Raymond A. Conner, West Covina, CA, Barbara J. Lang and Kathleen L. Rouleau, both of Cranston; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Margaret Trombley and Louise G. Gillis.Her funeral with visitation will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 8:00 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am in Saint Paul Church, One Saint Paul Place, Cranston. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery Cranston.
