Born in Providence, a son of the late Louis “Blackie” and Lillian (Halpin) Nassi, he had been the husband of Susan E. (Acciaioli) Nassi for 35 years.
Mr. Nassi was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was the father of Jerry Nassi Jr., Mindy S. Fuscellaro and her husband Jerry, Abbie R. Nassi and the late Randy J. Nassi; grandfather of Emma, Angelo, Jerry III, Susan and Joey; brother of John Nassi, Theresa A. Charves and Angelina T. Romaro.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. with a funeral on Thursday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial with Military Honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
