Joel R. Constantineau, 27, of Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of William J. and Maryanne Constantineau, of Warwick. Joel served his country proudly during Operation Enduring Freedom, with the Rhode Island Army National Guard, C Company 1-143d Infantry Regiment, most recently returning in November from a yearlong deployment to Afghanistan. Besides his parents, he leaves a sister, Chelsea L. Constantineau-Covill, and her husband Christopher, of Warwick; a brother, Joshua A. Constantineau, and his companion, Karen Wholey, and their son, Jaxson W. Constantineau, of Lincoln. He also leaves behind his loving companion, RenAC.e E. Frechette. Joel's funeral and visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013, beginning at 8:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick, with a funeral service at 12:00 noon, in the funeral home.
