Born in Warwick, he was the son of Janice (Barnes) Crouse and the late John W. Crouse, Jr.
John was a roofer for many years before retiring due to illness.
He was the father of Kristina Benetti, Lisa Benetti, Jennifer Costa-Cortes and her husband Hector and Sabrina Benetti and grandfather of Giselle, Giovanni, Hector, Jr., Francisco, Jada, Lila Rose and Leonardo. He was also the brother of Lee-Anne Albanese and her husband Gene and Lynne P. Driscoll and her husband Mark; uncle of Jennifer Kaprielian (Jeffrey), Mathew Allin, Kyleigh Driscoll, Conor Driscoll and great uncle of Logan Kaprielian, Isla Kaprielian, Max Kaprielian.
His visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 6:30 PM. Burial will be private. www.pontarellimarinofunerals.com.
