John R. Renzi, Sr., 78, of Oliver Street, passed away November 26, 2011. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Camillo and Carmella (DellaValle) Renzi. He had been the beloved husband of Claire (Allen) Renzi for 60 years.
Mr. Renzi had been a meat cutter for Almacs before retiring.
He was the devoted father of Janice A. Gelardi, Lynn A. Breggia and husband John, John R. Renzi, Jr. and Lisa M. Pernorio and husband John; cherished grandfather of Caitlin, Alessandra, Joshua, Anthony, Jacob and Matthew; brother of Raymond N. Renzi.
Mr. Renzi dedicated his life to his family. He was a patient, kind, loving devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who will never be forgotten. He always put the needs of others before himself.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10 a.m. in The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue North Providence RI.
