Jose Andrade

Born in El Salvador, he was the son of the late Fautino Hernandez and Maria Andrade.

Jose dedicated many years of his life to the jewelry industry, working as a polisher before retiring. Later in life, he worked alongside his sons at the family bakery, bringing laughter and many cherished memories. A devoted Christian, Jose centered his life on his faith and dedicated himself wholeheartedly to Jesus Christ. He will be remembered for his steadfast faith, hard work, devotion to his family, and warm spirit.

He was the cherished father of Jose Aurelio, Santiago, Jesus, Jose R., Gilberto, Jose Santos, Reina, and Isabel. A proud grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 2, Jose’s legacy lives on through the love of his family.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life during visitation on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at the same location, followed by burial at North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.

Jose will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will live on as an example of a life guided by faith and love.
