He was born in Pawtucket the son of Norma Iris Diaz-Oyola and Robert Tejeda. Loving brother of Yelitza Vazquez, Jazmarie Ayala, Jenelle Sanchez, Jerry Diaz, Joseph Diaz, Joel Sanchez and the late Joshua Diaz, Luis Ramos and Kiovanny Diaz. He also leaves behind several nieces and a nephew.
Jose was a very hardworking young man. He was employed as a forklift operator. Growing up he was the life of the party. Jose was very invested in sports, especially football and wrestling. In his free time, he liked to be surrounded by family and friends. He loved all and was loved by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visitation on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4 to 8 pm. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 am from the PONTARELLI-MARINO HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 284 Hawkins Street, Providence.
Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
