Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Ana Teolinda Brito. He is survived by his partner of 25 years, Somalis Urena and five children, Jeffrey Brito, Wendolyn Thomas, Madelyn Brito, Luis Urena and Janill Brito.
Juan immigrated to the United states in search for a better life where he owned and operated La Famosa Market on Broad St for many years. In his earlier days, playing baseball with his friends was his passion. He was a baseball enthusiast and specifically enjoyed following The Boston Redsox team.
His funeral and burial will be private.
