Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Peluso) Mattiace; wife of Salvatore Giacobbi; mother of Gerald Giacobbi and his wife Pamela, Dawn Giacobbi-Martin, and the late Anthony J. Giacobbi Sr.; grandmother of Jessica, Elizabeth, Anthony Jr., Zachary, Andrew, Isaac Jr., Matthew, Alexandra and the late Derek Giacobbi; great-grandmother of Noah, Anna Belle, Julia, Penelope, Belilah and Emerie Rose; and sister of the late Mary DeAlessandro.
Judith was the office manager for American Alarms, a business owned by her son Gerald before retiring. She was a volunteer at the Indian River Medical Center for 12 years.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
