Julio came to the U.S. in 1979 and worked for the Hilton Hotel in New York City for 25 years.
He was the husband of Eduvigis Monsanto; father of Julio, Dinapoles and Edward Pichardo, Berenice Taveras, Lorys Pichardo, Iluminada Garcia, and Erlinda, Marilo and Onorina Pichardo; grandfather of 15; great grandfather of 6 and brother of 13.
Visitation will be held Tuesday in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence.
