Kathleen A. Goodwin

Goodwin, Kathleen A.(O'Neil) 86, died peacefully Thursday surrounded by her two sons at Harborside Healthcare Pawtuxet Village. She was the wife of the late Peter K. Goodwin. Born in Providence a daughter of the late John F. & Margaret M. (Murray) O'Neil. Kathleen was a graduate of Saint Marys Academy of the Visitation and Bryant College. Prior to moving to Warwick 20 years ago, she was a resident of Edgemere Ave, Providence. She was a communicant of Saint Peter Church, Warwick, and a former communicant of Saint Teresa Church, Providence. Mrs. Goodwin held several secretarial positions at the Providence Police Department, Communications Office, Citizens Bank and retired from the Rhode Island Family Court in 1976. She is survived by two sons, Peter Kieran Goodwin of Harrisville, RI and Paul J. Goodwin a Providence School Teacher and his wife Suzanne of Warwick. She also leaves three grandchildren, Caitlin, Mollie, and Timothy Goodwin. She was a sister of the late Rev. John F. O'Neil, Hubert J. O'Neil, Mary E. McNamara and Margaret C. Stamps, R.N. Her funeral will be held Monday morning, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 142 Centerville Road Warwick (Exit 10A I-95). Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Peter Church 350 Fair Street Warwick. Visiting hours Sunday, 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Saint Peter's School P.A.S.S Program, 120 Mayfair Road Warwick, RI 02888 in her memory will be appreciated.
