Kathryn E. (Irving) Mattera, 77, passed away November 11, 2015. Wife of the late John A. Mattera; daughter of the late Charles and Kathryn (Wright) Irving; and sister of Dorothy Calise, Isabelle McGurn and the late Ann Marie Mattera. She was the beloved aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt of several nieces and nephews. She also adored her late cat Mattie.
Visitation and funeral Saturday, 9-10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence. Graveside burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rhode Island SPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915.
