Kevin Alan Governo

Kevin Alan Governo, 54, of Warwick, formerly of Little Compton, died unexpectedly on Thursday.Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of Alan Governo of Fall River, MA and Jacqueline Governo, of Brunswick, GA. Kevin lived in Adamsville before joining the Marines. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and Oceanside, CA and briefly lived in Florida before returning to Rhode Island.Kevin has worked for the Fox Point Boys and Girls Club in Providence, where he ran a computer lab for the children, donating much of his time spent at the club. He enjoyed computers, watching old TV shows, and playing cards online. He was a real character, and had a good wit.Besides his parents, he leaves three sisters, Gayle Gibson, her husband billy and son Matthew, and Susan Boyd, her husband Mike, and sons Jacob, Zachary, Ryan and Sean, all of Brunswick, GA, and Karen Ingraham, her husband Eric and stepson Erik, of Warwick, and a brother, Scott Governo, his wife Jackie, and sons Brandon and Cory, of Asheville, NC.Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 12 noon in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd. Warwick with Funeral Services beginning at 12 noon. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset, MA.
