Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Carmela Lonardo.
Laura was a volunteer for the Federal Hill House in Providence for many years.
She leaves two sons Egidio “Gene” Marocco, and wife Marion, Michael Marocco and wife Nancy,and a daughter Laura Jean Caprio and husband Anthony; She was the grandmother of Loren Maccarone and husband Jay, Ashley Marocco, Hollie Marocco, Michael Marocco Jr. and wife Jacque, Brian Marocco and Rhonda Marocco; a great grandmother of Emily Caprio, Olivia Marocco-Markley and Antonia Marocco. She was also the sister of Rose Trabuco, Victoria DeForge, and and the late Frank, Michael and Luigi Lonardo, Carmela Dionne, Helen DiBenedetto and Sue Gabriel.
