Wood, Lilian M. (Wilby) age 92 of West Shore Rd., passed away on December 16th. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Wood and the late Edmond Carpenter. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Martha (Hough) Wilby. Mrs. Wood was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. Loving mother of Victor Carpenter of Warwick, and Alan Carpenter of Coventry. Sister of Louise Casey of East Greenwich and John Rock of Pawtucket. Grandmother of 3, great-grandmother of 2. She was also the sister of the late William Wilby. A funeral service will be held on FRIDAY at 9:30am in The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 142 Centerville Rd., WARWICK. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston. Visitation will be THURSDAY from 4 to 7pm.
