

CranstonMcLean, Lillian A., 94, of Vinton Avenue, died Wednesday at the Cedar Crest Nursing Centre. She was the wife of the late John F. McLean. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Shanley) Fay, she had lived in Cranston for the past twenty-four years, previously living in Providence. Mrs. McLean was a sales associate for the Outlet Department Store, and Peerless Department Store, both in Downtown Providence, for over forty years, retiring in 1981. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston, for many years. Lillian leaves her daughter, Kathleen M. Loiselle, her son-in-law, Gilbert J. Loiselle, of Cranston, and two grandsons, Douglas M. Loiselle and Andrew M. Loiselle. She was the mother of the late Kenneth McLean, and a sister of the late John, Charles, Raymond, Edward and Hugh Fay, and Elfie Kollett.The funeral will be held Saturday, at 9:00 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday, 5 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Alzheimer's Center, 25 Brayton Avenue, Cranston RI 02920 or Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston, RI 02920 in her memory will be appreciated.
