Sarandrea, Linda (Walters), 91, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family Thursday July 28, 2016 at the Morgan Health Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Sarandrea, Sr., to whom she was married for 47 years before his passing in 1991. Born in Sasafras, KY, she was a daughter of the late William and Dulceenia (Armstrong) Walters.
Mrs. Sarandrea worked as a Finishing Seamstress for Elaina Fays in Providence for 40 years before retiring in 1990.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph, Jr., Deputy Sheriff, RI Sheriff’s Dept. (Ret. Sgt. P.P.D.) and his wife Jackie and James and his wife Susan; four grandchildren; three special grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers and three sisters.
