

Lois grew up in Coral Gables, Florida and Attleboro, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Bridgewater State University where she made many lifelong friends. Lois and her college friends remained close for over 70 years and most recently had a reunion this past August.
Lois married her best friend, Richard Cronan, in 1958. They settled in Attleboro where they raised their five children.
Lois was a physical education teacher prior to starting her family. When she returned to work, she opened her own travel agency in Attleboro. She and her husband enjoyed many years of travel together around the world before retiring to Englewood, Florida in 1994.
Lois’ family and friends will always remember her passion for golf. She was a member of Highland Country Club in Attleboro, Franklin Country Club in Franklin, MA and Myakka Pines Golf Club in Englewood, FL.
Lois was predeceased by her husband Richard, daughter Catherine, and her brother Eugene Hebert.
She is survived by her children Paul Cronan and his wife Lisa of Rehoboth, MA; Joanne Corkum and her husband Matthew of Jacksonville, FL; David Cronan and his wife Kristen of West Barnstable, MA; Susan Manning and her husband Richard of North Attleboro, MA; and her grandchildren Kristen Pappas, Jeff Corkum, Michael Manning, David Manning, Emily Cronan, Allison Cronan, Delaney Cronan, and Jack Cronan. She was blessed with one great grandchild, Clara Pappas.
Lois moved to Christopher Heights Assisted Living in Attleboro in 2020 where she received great care and made many new friends.
She will be missed by her family and friends. At the family’s request, her funeral and burial are private.
