Louise Marro

Louise (Merola) Marro, 88 of Johnston passed away May 25, 2012 after a courageous battle with heart problems with the care of Hospice of RI and her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Marro.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giacomo and Maria (Consola) Merola.

Louise moved to Florida for 25 years before returning home 3 years ago to her family. She loved playing cards and spending time with her family.

She was the loving mother of Diane Fiontella, Gail Giandolfi, Carol Montgomery and the late Robert and Vincent Marro; cherished grandmother of Neil, Mikey and Vincent III Marro, Patricia Tallo, Michael Fiontella, Tracy Sullivan, Carol Rini, Melissa DiChiaro, Eddie Montgomery and Gregory and Mike Lovenbury and also Michelle Marro and the late Lori, Brittany and Bobby Marro; great grandmother of 22 and the late Bella Sullivan; great great grandmother of 5 and sister of Caroline Miller, Grace O’Brien and the late Joseph, Ralph, and Silvio Merola, Carmella Miller and Angelina Esposito;

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston.
