

Madeline was known for having many talents. She had a love for crocheting and sewing, and also became a certified artist. Painting was her passion. She worked at the Outlet Co. in the 70’s and then at Puritan Insurance as a systems analyst in the computer tech department. Before retiring she also worked at N.E. Telephone Co.
Madeline will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. She was a devoted caregiver.
She was the devoted mother of Donna Gentes, Karen Fandetti, and Jodi Hartshorn and her husband Kevin; beloved grandmother of Joseph DeFalco, Michael DeFalco, Paul Michaud, Vints Holden, Geoffery Holden, Tony and Desaray, Cory and Adrian, Kyle and Ashley; and loving great-grandmother of Joseph DeFalco, Paul Michaud, Matthew Michaud, Bently Holden, Isla Holden, Ari Valencourt, Amaya Holden, Garett and Kalli, Maxwell and Adin, Astyn, Kyberlyn and Kamden. She was predeceased by her siblings, Anna Harper, Sonny LaCourse and Anthony LaCourse. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00-11:00 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
