Madeline Mary "Lindsey" Saunders

PROVIDENCEMadeline M. "Lindsey" Saunders (McElroy) 83, of Providence, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, in Providence.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward P. and Madeline M. (Martin) McElroy.She leaves her six loving children, Linda M. Saunders, of Laguna Niguel, CA, Stephen T. Saunders, of North Kingstown, Lori A. DeSimone, of Providence, Patricia A. Malloy, of St. Cloud, FL, Leon E. Saunders, of Johnston, and Christopher M. Saunders, of West Warwick; 2 brothers, James W. McElroy, of Warwick and Robert J. McElroy, of North Providence; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward McElroy and Dorothy A. Sullivan.Madeline's funeral will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 8:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Academy Avenue, Providence. Interment will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
