

Margaret F. (Farren) Mancini, 91, of Stillwater Nursing (formerly Cortland Place Assisted Living) Greenville, RI, since January 2014 and previously a life-long resident of Providence, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 30, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Mancini, Sr., whom she was married to for 65 years.
Born in the North End of Providence, of what was once the Immaculate Conception Parish community, on September 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Mary (Reilly) Farren.
A retired electronic military-grade precision solderer for the former Ostby and Barton Company, for more than 30 years, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed reading, singing, laughing, and spending time with family and friends. During her lifetime she always lent a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors. She will be sadly missed and was deeply loved by all.
She leaves her surviving son, Lawrence J. Mancini, and his wife Maria E. of Smithfield. She was pre-deceased in death by her daughter Margaret F. (Margie) Peters and her son Albert Mancini Jr.
She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Kelley Lynn Peters and her partner Dora Garcia, Richard A. Peters, Jr, and his partner Kelly Ramos, Tara Mancini and her husband Aditya Chakrabarti, Thomas Albert Mancini and his partner Amy Lombardo, John P. Marzullo and Melissa A. Callen and her husband Craig, as well as her five great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Tiernan, Aubrey and Isabella Peters and Alexis and Adriana Callen. She is also survived by her son-in- law Richard A. Peters, Sr, and her former daughter-in-law Marilynn A. (Lepore) Adams. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved and adored, and they loved, honored, and respected her throughout her life.
She was pre-deceased in death by her siblings, Mary Rossi, Florence Tetreault- Barber, Rose Mouret, John Farren and Elizabeth Farren.
Her family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff, nurses and aides of Stillwater Assisted Living and Nursing for their exceptional care of her and their dedication to their profession. Thank you All!

At the request of the deceased and her family and due to current Covid conditions, calling hours are respectfully omitted and burial will be private. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
