

Johnston Margaret (Borrelli) Moore, 91, of Old Pocasset Lane, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 5, 2016, at her home, Pocasset Bay Manor. She was the wife of the late Richard E. "Red" Moore. Born in Johnston, a daughter of the late Ernest and Bessie (Pezzullo) Borrelli, she lived in the Mount Pleasant section of Providence many years, North Providence several years, before moving to Johnston two years ago. Mrs. Moore worked for Elmwood Sensors Company before retiring, and was a longtime parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was a member of Saint Martha Parish Rosary and Altar Society, and a volunteer at the Church Bazaar. A loving and devoted mother, she leaves a daughter, Patricia A. Capuano and her husband Robert; three sons, Ronald E. Moore and his wife Roseann, Kenneth W. Moore and his wife Claudia and Thomas F. Moore and his wife Deborah; a brother, Ernest Borrelli; four sisters, Rose Croghan, Antonette Thistle, Evelyn Quintus and Mary Cervone, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Anthony Borrelli and Anna Rotundo. The funeral and visitation will be held Saturday morning, with visiting hours from 8:00 am - 9:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations to Meeting Street School, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905, in her memory will be appreciated.
