Richard, Margaret E., 99, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at the Friendly Nursing Home, Woonsocket, where she was cared for by a most kind and dedicated staff of Health Care Professionals. She was the wife of the late Albert L. Richard. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James and Josephine (O'Connell) McManus, she had lived in Providence most of her life. She leaves two sons; Albert L. (Jacqueline) Richard Jr., Stephen (Christine) Richard, a daughter; Laura (Thomas) Toothaker, a sister; Winifred Tracy, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a great great grandson, and several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Mary D. Coleman and James H. McManus. The funeral will be held Saturday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Matthew Church, Elmwood Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Friday 6 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860 in her memory will be appreciated.
