Marie Louise Marchetti

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Stella Tanzi.

She was the beloved mother of Angelo Marchetti and his wife Marie, and Anthony Marchetti and his wife Barbara. She was a loving grandmother to the late Wanda Marchetti DeRouin and her husband Leo, Michael Marchetti and his wife Susan, Matthew Marchetti and his wife Michele, Maria Patrizio, Anthony Marchetti and his wife Michele. She had nine great-grandchildren. She is survived by her dear sister Celeste Pagano, and was the sister of the late Saverio, Ralph, and Salvatore Tanzi, Jenny Saccoccio, and Maria Serydynski.

Marie worked at the Outlet Company for over 40 years before retiring.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 9:45 AM from the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 791 Potters Ave., Providence at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Monday, October 26, 2015 from 4-8pm.
