Born in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of Sydney and Ruth (Glick) Zwirn.
Marilyn, know as Lynn to friends and family, was an avid reader, who loved a good mystery. She also enjoyed musicals, movies and theater. Lynn worked in the retail industry for many years and most recently sold high end handbags and luggage. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook and baker.
She was the cherished and loving mother to her daughter, Karen DeRuvo and her son, Sirrah Lore and the proud Bubie of Lauren Macchio, Aaron DeRuvo, Ariel DeRuvo and Sophia DeRuvo. She was predeceased by her sisters, Phyllis (Bunny) Feinstein and Francee Fitzharris. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Her sweet, kind and gentle nature will be missed by all who knew her.
Her funeral and burial will be private.
