Mario P. Dalmazzi

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Adone and Vittoria (Cionci) Dalmazzi.

He was the father of Debra Topliff and her husband Steve, Beverly Bernier and her husband Russell, Michael Dalmazzi and Mario Peter Dalmazzi; grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 10. He was also the brother of Galileo “Peter” Dalmazzi and the late Robert Dalmazzi.

Mario served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1947 on the aircraft carrier Tarawa. After being discharged from the Navy he went on to become a construction superintendent for A.F. Lusi until his retirement. Mario worked on numerous projects including the Johnston Police Station, Town Hall Lanes and the US Naval War College in Newport. He was a member of the Manton Seniors and the Carpenter’s Union.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00PM - 7:00PM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence.

Funeral and burial will be private.
