

North Providence - Mark John David Badway, 45, of Sunset Avenue, died on October 23, 2014, unexpectedly and without suffering at his home, with his beloved mother by his side. Born in Providence, a son of Barbara (Raya) Badway, and the late Ernest Elias Badway, he lived in North Providence all his life. He was employed at Boston University Physics Department. He was an avid volleyball and rugby player, and loved to work out at the gym. Besides his mother, he leaves his brothers, Ernest of NJ, Kevin of Warwick, and Brian of Seattle, as well as his beloved sister, Dana Witczak of CT. He was the favorite uncle of Sydney, Abigail, Nicholas and Matthew Badway, and John and Benjamin Witczak. His funeral will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014, his late father's birthday, at 8:45 from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint George Maronite Catholic Church,(formerly St. Ann Church), 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
