Born in Providence, she was a lifelong resident of Smith Hill before moving to Warwick in 2007. She was the daughter of the late Charles “Garabed” and Louise “Lucy” (Markarian) Nalbandian. She was the beloved mother of Kathleen Mikaelian and her husband Boghos and the cherished grandmother of Ashley Mikaelian. Mary was the mother of the late baby Colleen.
Mary worked for the state of Rhode Island school lunch program for 10 years. She also worked as a CNA for over 20 years before retiring in 2019. She was a devote Catholic and a lifetime communicant of Sts. Rose & Clement Church.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 1st from 4-7 p.m. with her funeral on Tuesday, April 2nd at 8:15 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Sts. Rose & Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org/donate
