Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Wright) Hurley.
Mary graduated St. Joseph School of Nursing and became a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital for over 35 years before retiring. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, taking trips to Foxwoods and shopping trips with her daughter and going to County fairs.
She was the cherished mother of Jennifer Manocchia, with whom she lived. She was also the sister of Karen Lavaglio and the late Alice L’Hereux and aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Her visitation will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
