Mary Grace Pastina

Mary Grace (Rotondo) Pastina, age 101, of Providence, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph C. Pastina Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories.

Born and raised in Providence, Mary was the daughter of the late Sebastiano and Angelina (Perrini) Rotondo.

She dedicated many years to the jewelry industry as an assembler and was admired for her exceptional talent as a master seamstress. Her skill and creativity brought joy to countless family and friends, and her hands were rarely still always sewing, crafting, and caring for others.

Mary’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother to Joseph C. Pastina and his wife Susan, Linda Albanese, and Donna Gervais; a proud grandmother of six and great-grandmother of thirteen. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and delicious meals, where everyone felt welcome. She was predeceased by her beloved siblings Anna Caruolo, Anthony Rotondo, Pasquali Rotondo, Thomas Rotondo, and John Rotondo, as well as her sons-in-law Robert Albanese and Phillip Gervais.

Her strength, kindness, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of family, faith, and generosity that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
