Mary D. Riley, 91, of Ferncrest Blvd, died Saturday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Walter F. and Mary (Conlon) Riley. Mary attended Boston College and graduated in the class of 1956. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, and was an adoptive Greyhound Parent. Before retirement Mary was a School Teacher in the Providence School Department for over 22 years, and prior to that she was a Registered Nurse. She leaves her cousins; Ann H. Riley of Johnston; Edward J. Rooney of Florida; John Riley of Providence; William Riley of Laurel, MD and Jean Brennan of Maine. She was a sister of the late Walter L. Riley. Mary's funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the Saint Augustine Church, Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours, Tuesday, 5-7 pm.
