Maureen T. DeAngelis

Maureen T. (Moriarty) DeAngelis, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 7, 2017. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Olga (Bonde) Moriarty; loving wife of the late Frank DeAngelis; mother of Frank “Buddy” DeAngelis and his wife Melissa Trapp, Linda D’Antuono and her husband Domenic; cherished grandmother of Hayley, Seth, Erik and Matthew; sister of Helen D’Ordine and the late Joseph Moriarty; sister-in-law of Carolyn Moriarty.

Maureen loved celebrating special occasions with family and friends. Her biggest joy was traveling with her husband Frank. She was always kind to everyone and loved by many.

Visitation will be held Sunday, 3-6 p.m. with her funeral on Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arbor Hill Assisted Living Activities Dept., 153 Dean Street, Providence, RI 02903.
