Michael R. "Duke" Duchesne

Born in Manchester, CT, Michael was the son of the late Marshall and Marie (McLaughlin) Duchesne.

Michael was employed as a District Operations Manager for Univar Solutions of Providence.  He loved everything sports, especially his New England Patriots. He enjoyed spending time with his family at their vacation home in New Hampshire, where he enjoyed ice fishing.  Michael was an avid fisherman, and took great pride in his boat, the MARIDUKE.  He was also a member of Pawtuxet Athletic Club, the RI Trucking Association, and the Chemical Club of New England.

In addition to his wife of 31 years, Michael is survived by his children, Megan, Michael and Brian Duchesne his sisters, Diane Greene and Michelle Famiglietti, and a brother, Stephen Duchesne.

Michael's funeral will be held on Thursday, September 23 at 8:45 from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Mark Church, 15 Garden Court, Cranston. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Bristol, RI.

Visiting hours Wednesday afternoon 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
